Wipro's earnings miss triggers 2% premarket share price decline
Wipro shares declined nearly 2% in premarket trading. The decline followed the company's announcement that fourth-quarter gross revenue reached ₹242.4B, a 7.7% year-over-year increase that fell short of analysts' predictions. GAAP earnings per share decreased by 2.1% to $0.04, which aligned with expectations. To counter short-term volatility, Wipro announced a stock buyback plan of up to ₹150B.
