Vanguard AI tool shifts advisor role from portfolio analysis to client coaching

Financial advisors using Vanguard's new Expert Insights tool will spend more time coaching and building trust with clients. The tool uses generative AI to transform complex portfolio data into client-ready guidance aligned with Vanguard's methodology. This shift in advisor labor is the result of the launch of Expert Insights, which puts the expertise of Vanguard's portfolio analysis specialists directly into the hands of advisors. The tool is currently in pilot with select advisors and will be embedded within the open-access Portfolio Analytics Tool later in 2026.
