Lakeland Industries secures NFPA 1970:2025 certification for new structural firefighting boots

Fire departments can now access a head-to-toe NFPA 1970:2025 certified PPE portfolio from Lakeland Fire + Safety. This is made possible by the NFPA 1970:2025 certification of the new FireFlex Elite-L100 Structural Firefighting Boot. The certification requires boots to meet specific safety standards, including puncture protection, flame-resistant components, melt-resistant soles, and a minimum height of 8 inches. Lakeland Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: LAKE) announced the product launch. Production will begin immediately to fulfill existing pre-orders. A second boot in the NFPA product line is planned for mid- to late fall, with a third boot expected in less than a year.
