European digital asset platforms are evolving into financial super apps
Users are shifting toward digital-native financial services to manage and grow wealth within a single platform. This shift is driven by a convergence of decentralized finance (DeFi) and traditional finance (TradFi) in compliance, payment layers, and tokenization. Tokenization volumes for real-world assets (RWAs) are increasing. KuCoin EU Managing Director Sabina Liu stated that platforms integrating digital assets, real-world assets, and payments will evolve into financial super apps. These platforms will become the key distribution layer for the next generation of financial products. These insights were shared during a Master Stage panel at Paris Blockchain Week 2026, where Liu joined representatives from Fidelity Investments, Stellar, N3xt, and Movantis to discuss the 2026 digital asset market outlook.
