Coinbase Wallet variable trading fees reach 3.99% for retail users

Retail traders using the Coinbase platform may pay variable trading fees between 1.49% and 3.99% of the transaction amount. The final cost depends on the user's geographical location, payment method, and whether the order is standard or instant. Metamask quotes include a maximum service fee of 0.875%. For larger trades, Coinbase Pro reduces fees for sums between $10,000 and $50,000, with maker-taker fees reaching as low as 0.00% and 0.04%. Users can obtain a Coinbase crypto debit card for an issuance fee of £4.95. Monthly cash withdrawals above £200 using these cards incur a 1% transaction fee.
